Please stop getting involved in pointless arguments about leather protocols and history on FetLife with people who refuse to remove their heads from the holes they are in. You have learned this lesson before, and yet you insist on continuing. May I suggest you bang your head against a brick wall instead? Yeah, I've "encountered" the good Mr. Brawner a couple of times as well. Our "encounters" ended not well as well. Pity, that.
As you've noticed he does view his experience as being absolute and universal to all gay leathermen. And any gay leatherman who doesn't have that exact same experience is not, therefore, a "real" gay leatherman.
Of course, those who aren't even gay like Wayne need not even bother for us folk will _NEVER_ share that same Enlightenment.

The debate I was having was a more historical one... trying to keep the record straight about what happened in the past vs. the stories some people tell and convince themselves about.
Leather history is a hobby of mine... and pointing out flagrant discrepancies has become one of my projects, despite the frustration it often brings me as a result.
